The ALCAT Test is a sensitivity and intolerance test that identifies reactions to over 350 foods, chemicals and other substances associated with inflammation that are linked to chronic health problems like migraines, aching joints, fatigue, gastrointestinal disorder.
The ALCAT is not an IgE allergy test. It is also different than a standard IgG test because it is not influenced or dependent on past exposure. The standard IgG can yield false negative or positive results, especially if youíve never been exposed to the substance, or conversely, have been exposed to a large amount of the substance. For example, maybe you are mildly sensitive to tomatoes, but you eat them 3 times a day... just love them tomatoes. Itís possible that tomatoes would land in the severe category on an IgG.
