This is an excellent supplement. It is basically the equivalent of eating a heaping mound of yogurt, and thus contains far more lactobacilli than most of your typical supplements. It helps to keep away yeast infections, and keeps the digestive tract in calm state.

I have been suffering from IBS symptoms since I had a salmonella infection over four years ago. I have been using Florajen 3 for a few months now, and within the first 2-3 week I noticed a huge improvement in my symptoms and have not needed any medications for the IBS!!

My son started having digestive issues at age 2. We thought he was allergic to dairy, but other random foods would also make him sick. His doctor recommended that we buy these and give him one a day. It's a capsule, so I just open it and put it in his juice every morning. He just turned 5 and can now even have small servings of ice cream when he goes to parties. He rarely has any stomach problems as long as he has these in his system. It has really made a huge difference. I also give them to my daughter and I take them too to help keep us regular and with our digestion.
