What is Reuteri?
Pronounced roy'-tur-eye, this unique lactobacillus is naturally found in human breast milk, and is one of the first defenses a nursing mother passes to her child. When taken as a supplement, reuteri colonizes in the intestine and provides healthy benefits.
Note: ** This product is kept refrigerated to preserve its freshness. These items are not shipped with ice packs. We were told by Nature's Way that it is not necessary to have it refrigerated during transit. Here is their response, "Primadophilus can be out of refrigeration for a few days without losing the potency. We add extra cultures to allow for the product to be out of refrigeration for shipping and manufacturing. But for long term storage in order to hold the potency the product should be stored in the refrigerator." We do keep the product refrigerated while it is in here and we suggest you do the same when the item is received.
